The land of riches. Or as I call it, the land of fake-wonders-in-the-world. 😉 … In case you don’t know what I am talking about. See this. or this.
A view from the top 😀
Worst part – I could not locate the famous Burj from far up here.. Maybe next time, I’ll make arrangements for a visa 😀
Pretty crowded, ain’t it? Somehow it reminds me of Indiaaaa…
Not as green as one may think it is. After all it is in the Arabian Gulf.
As the land and waters and my panoramic view trailed off, I started to think what was the best thing I saw in my lay over of 3 hours. And here it was :
the FABULOUS cow 😀
Now you know why it’s called the land of milk and money! 🙂
hahaha 😀 maybe
An amazing blog!!
thank a ton!
Great shots.. But really fabulous cow was the best part.. 🙂 she’s quite the steal though!
thank a ton! 😀 and she was a major attraction there…
“I could not locate the famous Burj from far up here.. Maybe next time, I’ll make arrangements for a visa”
weren’t you there in dubai?
no…it was just a transit… I was on airport for 3-4 hours. I mentioned that in the post.
With all the haze it looks like Los Angeles on a good day !!!!! Thanks for your visit to my site. ~Paul~
hehe…airports are fantastic…wherever they are!
Oh, the cow! I’ve seen it there a week ago, my flights were connecting in Dubai. Views from above are great (now I know what I missed while trying to sleep).
Cow was the show’s topper of the airport 😀
Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful weekend!
thanks a ton dear brother!
Always interesting to see different sites. New York City is also very manufactured. Times Square is actually a very small piece of real estate. 🙂
but Times Square is so bloody photogenic 😀
land of opportunities
absolutely!
I love the cow! Thanks for stopping by The Brass Rag. Come back and see us again soon.
Cow was the show’s topper 😀
Beautiful pictures! I must admit I love the Milka cow! 🙂 I miss Milka chocolate….
Cow was the show’s topper 😀
How do you find such revealing words like ‘fake-wonders-in-the-world’?!
It comes naturally to me, I guess. A doze of sarcasm and mockery for something hilarious or outrageous.
…and inhuman and cruel too…

Seeing these photos makes me miss Dubai!
you stayed in Dxb?
Yes a few years ago I lived there.
Dubai-ous at best. 🙂
truly…and Cow was the show’s topper 😀
Let’s see what happens when the oil dries up. Till then party is great
haha…haven’t we seen that story’s trailer already?
Been to Dubai last November and this February. Fake wonders indeed. I am among those rare ones who is sarcastic about the place. Much rather would go to some place else for a vacation. But hey, in this economy they make jobs 🙂 America doesn’t make them any more as much, Europe is barely alive. I met tons of taxi drivers from Pakistan and India. They looked rather happy.
somehow expats present such an outer view that they are happy while majority of them are not…that’s the sad part.
I love Dubai!! I have been there this November. Absolutely loved Souk Madinat, Marina and cruising through the desert. Amost each picture you’ll take there is perfect 🙂
i know…photogenic place it is…! 😀
