Responses I get from people when I ask if they like rains/rainy season –
1. Eeeew! No! It’s so sticky-sticky and humid. No ways!
2. Naaah…It makes me feel depressed!
3. Ain’t no sunshine, the day doesn’t feel like the day! I feel so lazy!
4. The puddles on the roads spoil my heels/footwear/shoes..!! *thanks to Indian roadways department*
5. The clothes get wet, and they don’t dry easily. No I don’t like staying wet, or getting wet early morning. *you got to be kidding me*
6. Do you know how many diseases/infections spread in this season? Do you like Rainy season, *almost feels like someone is putting a pistol on my head* do you?
*After the last one, I decided not to consider my audience on this topic* π
But I love rains. And I have my own reasons!
1. It is romantic! It is, just look at the sky once in a while!
2. No rainbows unless it rains!!!
3. You can act like a kid, regardless of your actual age! Splash into water puddles and get dirty, since you’re wet anyways π
4. Walking with an umbrella is so cool, I mean this is the only time you can use umbrella as a fashion statement! π
5. Some dishes and sweets just taste better when its raining. I mean, seriously, there are rainy-season-special-sweets in India.
6. Walking in the rain, nobody can see you cry # never tried it, but read it somewhere!
7. You have an excuse to come late to office/take a day off by calling in sick π
8. It gives a perfect reason to enjoy a cup(s) of Β herbal tea/strong coffee (more than your usual in-a-day count). Β
I have always loved rains and will continue to enjoy this season just like the others!
Cheers! Β *coffee mug*

I like rain if I have no where to go, am staying at home for the day, as long it’s not flooding, and there are no high winds…(-:
Flooding is extreme,
Safety first – Enjoying the rain is later!
π
Thanks for dropping by!
I TOTALLY agree!! I love the rain and the way the mist settles on the mountain tops. It is what makes this place what it is. I try to not let it slow me down either…if I’m going to go for a run, it doesn’t matter if it’s raining π
Ooooh…Running in the rain must be amazing!
I am adding that to my to-do-list π
Thanks for dropping by and giving me a new thing to try π
Any time π
Have u done ever Hajmola Candy style.Chhapak still today i do some time.

I like your list! It was very creative! There’ nothing like laying in bed listening to the rain!

Thanks for reading and appreciating, Little Mrs. Know It All..!
*pumped up* π
Cheers!
I love the photos. I love the misty atmosphere.
thanks mate! π
Cheers!
I have a love hate relationship with rain. Rain triggers fibro symptoms for me. Ouch. But I do love rainy days. I love the clean smell that comes with rain. I love curling up in bed with a good book. And yes, I’m 29 (a few times over) but I do like splashing in the puddles.
Age doesn’t matter…there are a few things enjoyable at every age!
Keep up the high spirit,
thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts π
Cheers!
woahhh… !!! Found somebody like me π
Yay *hi-five* π

I love the sound of rain on my window pane. I like walking in the park smelling the scents of the plants after the newly fallen rain but I hate vehicles splashing water all over me as I walk along the pavement.
I love the closeness between my dog and I as I towel his wet coat after we have been caught in the rain together. He loves being dried, his tail wags furiously as he nuzzles against me.
Awww…such good memories!
I like puppies though, dogs scare me..!
And indeed vehicles splashing water is very annoying!
I love the sound rain in the middle of the night
I love the sight of rain when I look out through the window, or standing by the door
I love to walk in the rain, it soaks my brain in meditation
I love the fresh cool breeze after the rains
I love to sit and watch everything coming back to life after the rains
The birds, the insects, the people, the milipeds, the dogs chasing low flying sparrows
I love the rainbow: God’s promise to never harm His people through water
I love the rain for it is the source of life
Lovely!!
I found so many rain-lovers through this post!
Thanks for sharing your incredible experience with rains!
I am in the minority on this subject. I love the rain! I think it is my romantic side! lol I should live in Seatle:)
π
Thank you for reading, fellow rain lover!
Rain Lover, that would make a great blog name. Just sayin:)
True that..!
But I already have 2 blogs up and running.. π
Probably a third one can be named this π
Hehe! I only have one, and it keeps me pretty busy, so I don’t know how you already have two:) I saw go for it though! I will be a fan Rain Lover:)
YAY
I already have a fan for my non-existent blog π
Yup!!
Love rain! Here’s one of my favourite quotes (wish I could write like this haha).
“If I were the rain, that binds together the earth and the sky, who in all eternity will never mingle, would I be able to bind two hearts together?”
– Tite Kubo
Amazing quote!!!
*hats off to Tite Kubo’s writing*
I love the rains. Regardless of what people say about rainy days being dull and gloomy, I find them to be so full of life, exciting and “happy”. I love dancing in the rain, and I do every time I get a chance. I guess I’m not alone π
Hey EI,
You have an interesting blog, and an even more interesting career/education π
Or probably I was impressed with the hi-fi words π
Thanks for dropping by!
Keep writing! π
Enjoyed your blog, particularly this post. I live in the USA and there has been some terrible droughts this year in various parts of the country. My wife and I used to enjoy walking in the rain, getting soaked and splashing in the puddles. By the way, I’m a Scorpion too.
Hey fellow Scorpion, and rain-lover!
I think weather change is hitting all over the world, it a huge concern for all inhabitants of this planet!
I hope you get your share of rains soon!
Take care!
Hi from rainy, puddly New England π Glad you liked my little post of little poems, hopefully there will be more soon. Looking forward to catching up on more of your posts too — another good thing to do on a rainy day!
So Jason brings us rains from New England π
Gulf has a dry spell right now! It rains a bit here in december, but by then I’ll be gone from here! π¦
No rains this year for me, you enjoy your share π
Keep writing!
I love the rain. It is so cleansing and soothing. Some fabulous rain and a cup of hot tea would be perfect now! Sending you much rain wherever you are!
Because of my travelling, I have missed the rainy season this year! Hope to catch it somewhere soon!!
Thanks for reading!
I whole-heartedly (sp?) agree with your reasons #1 and #2. π
haha π
To each, its own π
Cheers!
I love steady rain, but where I live, it’s either full sun in summer, or else raining so hard I can’t see a foot in front of me. I’d like something in between! π
you live in extreme conditions π
drizzling is much more fun than heavy rains!
